Neighborhood

The house is located in the historic district of Cape Cod, on Old Kings Highway, also known as Main Street or Route 6A in East Dennis. This town is considered one of the most desirable on Cape Cod for its scenic vistas, large property lots, beautiful resident-only beaches, many scenic salt marshes and no commercial developments.

The house is very private and is distant from other neighbors. In the back of the house, the nearest neighbor is 800 ft. away and barely visible behind rows of trees. There are a few houses over 1,000 ft away, hidden behind rows of trees. A few trophy homes are visible at the neck of Sesuit Harbor, well over 3,000 ft. away.

In the front of the house there is an antique store and auction house (shown in picture on Left) that operates only a few times each year, the driveway located over 100 feet to the East. To the West the nearest property is almost 300 ft. removed. Thus there are no noisy neighbors and never will any close-by.

 

Nearby Beaches

The house is located near 2 of the best beaches on the Bay side of Cape Cod, on the East and West side of Sesuit Harbor. The smaller beach is 1 mile walking/driving distance, without having to cross any busy intersections, while the other, Cold Storage beach, is 2 miles walking / driving distance, with having to cross only one intersection with a traffic light. Both beaches are residents-ONLY beaches in the summer, limiting the crowds in the both the parking areas and the beach itself.

Cold Storage beach is one of the well-known and unique "Flats Beaches" (shown in picture on Left) where the beach allows a 10+ mile walk on the sand (in some places on a strip as wide as a 100 ft. at low tide) all the way to Orleans, without any barriers.
