The front yard of the house consists of 3 sections. The immediate area in front of the residence portion of the house consists of a sloping evergreen garden,"flowing" down to the parking area. Between the evergreen and the house there are 4 large evergreen bushes in front of a 4 by 8 foot wooden platform to allow placing a couple of deck-chairs to enjoy the setting sun in the late afternoon, as well as a rose-bed along the front of the greenhouse.
The West end of the front yard consists of a number of trees and bushes. In front of the huge mature trees shading the parking, there are a few smaller trees, a young birch tree, a couple of bushes and a number of wild, native blackberry bushes.
The South side area bordering the street has a small patch of grass, with a number of mature shrubs and smaller trees shielding the sidewalk from the parking area.
The East side has a thick row of native grape bushes lining the property' edge, shielded by a large mature tree near the driveway to the street.
